Meet Katie and Dianna

Katie founded Kiawah Island Shades, now Island Shade Shoppe, in response to the apparent need for service providers dedicated to window coverings. Her entrepreneurial calling, customer-focused approach, and commitment to learning the trade have resulted in dozens of designer relationships and countless satisfied homeowners.

The business grew rapidly warranting the addition of another industrious young professional. Insert Dianna. Katie invited Dianna, best friends for years, to join her in this business endeavor. Having lived cross country from one another for over a decade – they were able to come together as two like-minded, creative, and ambitious individuals with a track record of outstanding customer satisfaction. They bring a fresh perspective to the often-dated window treatment business – marrying traditional elements with today’s advancements and style.
